We recognize that going to the dentist isn’t exactly a dream experience for many people. Whether you’re scared about the procedure or just a little uncomfortable, we are committed to making you feel relaxed while we work our dentistry magic. That’s why we have the comfort menu, a complimentary list of items that we offer to all of our patients free of charge. Who says going to the dentist has to be stressful?
Blanket
Kids often get nervous at dental appointments, but a complimentary soft and fluffy blanket can have a calming effect. You can also relax under a heated throw blanket, or an anti-stress warm comfort wrap that provides a warm and soothing feeling in your neck and shoulders.
Ear Plugs & Music
We understand that there’s a lot of background noise at dental offices, from the ambient music to the sound of the drills. If you need to put yourself in the right frame of mind and dull out the noise, we offer complimentary one-size-fits-all foam ear plugs. You can also borrow an MP3 player, preloaded with a playlist of relaxing music to calm your nerves.
Neck Warmer & Hot Towel
If you’re tense, nothing is better than a soothing neck warmer that wraps around your shoulders and neck to relieve tension. We also offer hot towels to warm and refresh your face.
Food & Drink
Your child will be eager to come to the dentist when they find out we offer complimentary chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and banana-flavoured milk. We also provide chewy and crunchy snack bars if they get hungry. This is especially helpful if you come after school and your child hasn’t eaten yet.
Stress Ball
If you’re still tense, don’t worry. We offer complimentary stress balls to help relieve some of that tension. Much better than squeezing the bones out of your partner’s hand!
At Teal Umbrella, your comfort is very important to us. We want to provide outstanding dental care and protect your oral health, but we also want to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy a stress-free procedure. When you have a relaxing dental appointment, you’re much more likely to come back for routine visits. In addition to a good oral hygiene routine at home, regular visits to the dentist are the most important thing you can do to protect your dental health.
