Restorative Dental Treatments

The Teal Umbrella is a holistic, integrated Ottawa dental practice. We combine most dental services under one roof in order to better serve our community. If you’re suffering from a specific dental issue, there’s a very strong likelihood that we can provide treatment in our office. In the rare cases where we cannot, we can refer you to a qualified specialist.

The world of dentistry is constantly changing. New technologies become available quickly. And at our Ottawa dentistry clinic, we keep pace.

We do not wait until our existing equipment breaks down to invest in new technology and we stay on top of trends.

We also are able to offer dental surgery from our Ottawa clinic, meaning we do not always have to refer you a specialist, though we still occasionally do.

Below, you’ll find some examples of the dental treatments we offer.

Root Canal Therapy

When the inside of your tooth becomes infected, you’ll want our team of dentists on your side. This treatment has a bit of a reputation; many describe it as painful and extreme. But that doesn’t have to be the case.

At The Teal Umbrella, we combine our knowledge and our ability to administer sedation to make your root canal as pain-free as possible. Read more about root canal therapy.

Dental Implants

Missing a tooth? Dental implants are your best option. They offer the most secure, tooth-like feel combined with the best outlook. Implants are long lasting and are often recommended in cosmetic dentisty because, of all the treatments for missing teeth, they often look the most realistic.

Implants are a fantastic, permanent solution if you have a single, or multiple missing teeth. Read more about dental implants.

Wisdom Teeth

If you or your child is experiencing problems associated with impacted wisdom teeth, it may be time to get them removed. Because we are equipped for dental surgery at The Teal Umbrella, we often don’t need to refer you to a specialist.

We’re outfitted with a complete set of sedation equipment and can ensure that your wisdom teeth removal is pain-free and that your healing process is quick.

Dentures

If one or several teeth are missing, dentures are often a good option. Though they don’t feature the same natural feel as dental implants, they are less expensive and many patients find that they serve them very well. Because missing teeth can cause further problems, such as gum disease and chewing difficulties, we recommend that either dentures or implants be pursued as a treatment.
